Tyler Southard (1994-2018)

Tyler was a sweet, friendly, super smart, and super talented young man. He loved animals, gaming, skateboarding, drawing & painting, and was a talented musician. He was a straight A student, with a 100% on his ACT math scores, until his marijuana use started affecting his grades, and his will to care. After high school, he worked for a company putting computer systems together, but his dream was to write songs, and be a full time musician.  He was hoping to use music to help kids with drug addictions.

Unfortunately, Tyler wouldn’t achieve his dreams that he was working toward, because his own marijuana addiction was turning into episodes of psychosis, and the early stages of schizophrenia. Tyler died by suicide, at the age of 24, in July of 2018. He hated his marijuana addiction, and was trying hard to beat it on his own. He had been drug free for a few weeks, but the damage had already been done, and he couldn’t save himself.
