Police: Driver high on marijuana kills father of 5

LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A Las Vegas family is left without their father right before Christmas.

Police say Kelvin Flowers was killed by a driver who was high on marijuana.

The collision happened just after 4 a.m. Saturday near Washington and Eastern.Two cars crashed into a cinder block wall, coming just feet from a home.

A small memorial of candles, flowers, and balloons sits at the intersection on the northeast side of Las Vegas.

Kelvin Flowers Jr. said his father was always in a good mood.
