Driver Arrested for Vehicular Homicide in Crash That Killed Centralia Teen

The Thurston County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a 25-year-old man for vehicular homicide in the death of a 18-year-old Centralia High School student following a crash last May in Grand Mound.

Donald D. Siegler is accused of driving under the influence of marijuana leading up to the May 17 crash at Old Highway 99 and Oregon Trail Road Southwest, according to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office.

The crash killed Cheyllyn Ranae Collinsworth, who was set to graduate as a top student at Centralia High School.

Siegler’s arrest was not possible until this week because of his serious injuries, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
