Man charged in ISP Trooper Chris Lambert death on I-294 in Northbrook

SKOKIE, Ill. (WLS) — A 61-year-old man charged in the crash that killed Illinois State Police Trooper Chris Lambert was high when he hit the trooper on I-294 in Northbrook, prosecutors said Tuesday.

Scott Larson was charged with reckless homicide and appeared in a Cook County courthouse for a bond hearing on Tuesday. His bail was set at $250,000.
