Queens teenager Joseph Beer faces 25 years in prison for car crash that killed three friends
A Queens teenager who crashed his car on a Long Island highway last month, killing four of his friends, now faces 25 years in prison after testing positive for marijuana, authorities said Friday.
Joseph Beer, 17, a Richmond Hill High School graduate, lost control of his 2012 Subaru Impreza on a dangerous stretch of the Southern State Parkway known as “Dead Man’s Curve” at about 3:40 a.m. on Oct. 8.
