Strongsville Man Sentenced for Causing Fatal Accident
A Strongsville man was sentenced to 18-months in prison for causing an accident that killed a Brunswick man in June of last year.
Timothy Bene, 27, received the sentence from Judge Nancy McDonnell on Monday morning.
Bene pleaded guilty to one count each of vehicular homicide and tampering with evidence on February 7, 2012, related to the death of William Bricker, Jr.
Bricker Jr. was riding his motorcycle at the intersection of Boston and Howe Road in Strongsville when he was struck by Bene.
Bene was seen by several witnesses walking into the woods following the accident, only to return a short time later.
